Hello friends! Yes, that quick and we are ready for a new challenge over at Cute Card Thursday! This is a really fun one too! This week we’d love to see your “Sparkles” on your creations! We look forward to seeing what you come up with for it!
Here’s the creation I made:
I have used one of our sponsor’s image this week called Reindeer and Snowman from Kinda Cute Stamps. Now how cute is that reindeer making a snow reindeer?! I just had to give them both a red nose! 🙂
I printed out the image on white blending card and cut it out with a wonky stitched rectangle die, and then cut out some snowflakes with silver sparkle paper along with layering the image panel over some as well. I took a sentiment from a new My Favorite Things stamp set and silver heat embossed it over the top of the image panel. I’ve also dotted the center of the snowflakes along with making some additional dots with some silver Stickles.
Here’s a closer view of the image. You can see where I’ve taken a glue pen and covered the snow-reindeer with loose glitter. I’ve also taken a Spectrum Noir Glitter Brush Pen and covered the noses as well as the snow on the ground. I used a glitter pen to color the charm on the reindeer’s collar.
Be sure to stop by the challenge blog and check out the sparkles from the rest of the design team! Hope you will get your sparkles out and come play!
Thanks for dropping in! See you soon!

Hello friends! It’s Cute Card Thursday again and we are going all Autumn over there this week! Sounds like a great challenge to me…hope you will stop over and check out the inspiration and add your creation in the gallery too! Looking forward to seeing your makes!
Here’s my card:
I thought this image was so darn cute! I’ve used an image from our sponsor this week called Girl with Wheelbarrow from Kinda Cute Stamps. She is busy gathering pumpkins in that wheelbarrow and looks to be on a mission with it too! I adore that sweet little bunny along for the ride!
I’ve colored the image with Copic markers including for the ground. I’ve taken a tiny sponge with some blue ink and very lightly sponged in a sky. The sentiment was stamped with brown ink from an older Lawn Fawn set. I’ve also used the Stitched Leaves die from Lawn Fawn to cut out some leaves with kraft cardstock and then sponged some color over the edges to attach to the design.
I cut out both the image panel and the orange design paper with a Stitched Scallop rectangle die set from My Favorite Things. I’ve also cut out a tiny brown banner at the top left corner from a die set from MFT as well. Lastly, I’ve added some gold sparkling enamel dots around the leaves.
Hope you are out and about enjoying the Autumn season! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today, I’m so happy to have you here! See you very soon!

Hello friends! Trying to work hard on projects and gettings things ready for next month. So please excuse me if I seem a bit sporadic in my presence!
Stopping in to share a new challenge with you over at Cute Card Thursday! This week the theme is “monochromatic” or some people say “monochrome” which simply means that your project mainly consists of one color or tone. Stop by the challenge blog and be sure to check out the rest of the inspiration from the design team while you’re there! Here’s my project for the challenge:
I absolutely fell in love with this flower image from the My Favorite Things card kit that they came out with! And I can’t say that I came up with this idea all on my own either, as it is very similar to one of the samples on the project sheet that comes with the kit.
It’s very simple to do, just white heat embossed the floral image and color areas in with a Copic marker and then I used a sentiment from Lawn Fawn to white heat emboss over vellum and the card stock again and then die cut the word out and attach over the vellum strip. I had been requested to make up some wedding cards and so I’m trying to make up a few of them as this is something that I’ve completely missed in my card creating. I need to remember that along with some others that I have been requested to make up that I just don’t think about doing when creating. Taking mental notes for myself!
We look forward to seeing your creations this week! Hope you can play along!
Thanks for stopping by friends! See you soon!

Hello friends! We are quickly rolling through another month here as we are getting into Fall and I know the “C” word will be here before we know it!! LOL! I’m trying to sneak in little creations here and there so I’m not overwhelmed. Sometimes challenges can help with that like our new challenge this week at Cute Card Thursday! Our new challenge this week is “Dies and/or Punches” which is something that I use ALL the time on my projects, how about you?
This week we are sponsored by “All Dressed Up Stamps” and I have used this adorable image called “Little Skater” on my card. I’ve colored her up with my Copic markers and then I’ve cut her out with a stitched circle die. I then used a very old Stampin’ Up! Snowflake stamp from my stash and stamped some snowflakes in the background with blue ink and then sponged around the edges of the circle with the same color.
I also heat embossed the sentiment (From My Favorite Things) with silver EP over a piece of pink cardstock and then cut it out with a banner strip die. I then sponged around this banner with some white ink. (This pink cardstock is the same color as my card base.
I had a piece of this pretty snowflake woodgrain paper in my stash a long time, pulled it out for the background. I’ve also die cut the stitched scallop circle behind the circle image panel with some silver glitter paper and attached it to the background. I’ve also die cut some additional snowflakes in white cardstock and placed those on my layout and covered the centers of them with some silver Stickles. I used a strip of foam tape to pop up the heat ebmossed sentiment right underneath the image and then lastly, I’ve added some clear crystal accents to the sides of the sentiment banner as well as on each corner of the background paper.
Here’s a closer view of the image. I have colored her skate blades with a silver gel pen and then I took a clear gel pen and went over the bow in her hair and her scarf as well as the tiny snowflakes around her. I’ve used a white gel pen for her cheeks and hightlights on her leggins.
I look forward to seeing your creations in the gallery this week!
Thanks for stopping by today! I’m working VERY heavily on my projects for my up-coming craft shows and I’m hoping that maybe I can take a minute or two to share what I’m working on! 🙂 My time is slowly running out….yikes!

Hello friends and happy Thursday to you! Tomorrow is Friday and we are about to get started on the weekend! I am ready for it too!
We have another brand new challenge up for you this week at Cute Card Thursday and the theme is “Magical“. This will be fun to see how you interpret this one! 🙂 Here’s the card that I made for the challenge:
I have used one of the sponsor’s images this week from Oddball Stamps which is Kawaii Big Eye Unicorn (with and without ornaments) Twinkles. I have used the image without the ornaments on him, but it comes with both! I think it’s adorable!
I printed out the image and used a wonky stitch rectangle die to cut out the panel with the image in the bottom right corner. I printed it out a second time so that I can cut it out with some masking paper. I placed the cut out masked paper unicorn over my card panel unicorn and stenciled the colorful cloudy background. I colored the unicorn and the the grass he’s sitting on with Copic markers. Lastly I stamped a sentiment from a My Favorite Things stamp set at the top with black ink.
So looking at the unicorn from a different angle, you can see that I’ve added tons of shimmer and glitter to it. I used a glitter brush pen for the muzzle, the hooves, the inside ears and around the eyes. I’ve also went around the unicorn on the grass for a bit more shimmer too. I took some clear dazzling diamonds glitter to add to the rainbow horn and tail using liquid glue. Of course there’s even more sparkle with the sequins. I had a couple of heart sequins to add around the unicorn as well.
So please be sure to stop by the challenge blog to see the rest of the creations from the design team! I hope you can join in the magical fun with us this week too!

Hello friends! Welcome to another Thursday in the month of August! Just stopping by to share with you my creation for the new challenge this week over at Cute Card Thursday. This week we’d like to see your “Just for Girls” creations.
We are still in August and it will be pretty warm this weekend. Trying to think cooler thoughts lately, so my mind goes to that song from the movie “Frozen”….eventhough I have never seen it, I really do enjoy the song!
I have used this really adorable image from our sponsor this week called Princess Snow which of course totally reminded me of the movie I mentioned above! 🙂 I also used that movie for the inspiration to color the image. So I’ve kept her outfit and hair in the same color hues as the princess in the movie. (See below for a closer look)
I had some snowflake papers in my stash and used a strip of it to go behind the image panel. I added some pink and glitter turquoise card stock to accent with the image and also die cut a snowflake border with pink card stock as well. I’ve used some white glitter ribbon and a snowflake accent in the center of the bow and then added a turquoise rhinestone for the center. I took my corner chomper and rounded off the corners of the glitter paper and edges of card base.
Now with a closer view of the image, you can see how I’ve colored her and all of the shimmer and sparkle too. I’ve colored her hair band, stars in her hair and the trim on her dress with a pink gel pen. I’ve covered the snowball and the ground she’s standing on with dazzling diamonds glitter. I’ve also used both a white and glitter gel pen for dots around her hair and the swirl to the left of her. Her dress was covered with a Spectrum Noir glitter brush pen.
Hope you’ve enjoyed my card today and please be sure to stop by the Cute Card Thursday challenge blog to see what inspiration the design team has come up with too! Hope you can join us this week for the challenge!

Hello friends! I thank you all so much for your latest comments on my posts, I do read them all and appreciate what you have to say. 🙂
It is Thursday once again and there is a new challenge issued over at Cute Card Thursday which is “Charms“. You can never have too many charms, right? So pull one out and use it to enter a project with us this week! We would love to see what you come up with!
We are sponsored again by the lovely All Dressed Up Stamps and here’s what I’ve made for my card this week:
I saw this sweet little image and knew I needed to put it on a card! 🙂 I have used this adorable ADU Christmas Deer image for my design today.
My card size is a 5×5 square design. I have used a stitched square die to cut some snowflake papers from my stash to mount onto a navy piece of card stock which I then placed over a white top folding card base. Before placing it down, I added the white ribbon around it with the bow.
As you can see the ribbon is where I have the snowflake charm attached. I’ve attached it with some silver thread which I’ve also used in a ‘nest’ form behind my circle image panel. I thought it would be cute to take the silver ribbon not only for the center of my white bow, but another bow around the deer’s neck. I die cut some snowflakes with glitter paper for accents and then added some glass enamel dots to the centers. For the circle image panel, I colored the image and cut it out with a circle die and then cut a stitched scallop circle in navy to place behind it and then popped that up with some craft foam.
Here’s a closer view of the intricate coloring details on the deer. I left his antelors plain and just colored in around them. I used white and red gel pen for the dots. I also took a silver glitter pen to add more dots around the snowflakes.
On the bottom of the circle I’ve attached some faux snow glitter flakes for the deer to stand on.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my card today and please be sure to check out the Cute Card Thursday challenge blog for more inspiration from the design team! Thanks so much for stopping by! I will have another fun post to share with you tomorrow! 🙂
