I absolutely love this new Rose Heart stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle this month!  It’s a wonderful layering stamp set and I can see so many creative possibilities with it!  I really hope to get some time to play with it some more!

I thought this stamp set had an elegant Vintage feel to it and I wanted to create with it in that way.  There are lots of fun heat embossing, ink blending and layering going on in this design.  If you would like to view the full details of how I went about creating my card, please visit my Sparkle N Sprinkle blog post HERE for more photos and steps in how I’ve made my design.

I’m also very excited and honored to have my card behind the inspiration for this month’s Vido Kit Club!  I have enjoyed watching videos from Demo Donna for a while now so it’s really cool to watch her create based on something I’ve made!  Plus she has used some really pretty glittery products that I don’t have on my card, but now are all on my wish list to get!! So… to be festive and join in on the celebration everywhere, I’ve decided to make a special card just for the occasion!  🙂

Vicki-SNS-challengeblog

I’ve used this really fun digital stamp from Sparkle N Sprinkle called Max [DIGI566]  and I have used my Prisma Color pencils to color him in with over some Canson Mi-Teintes Pastel paper.  I cut him out with a circle die and then ran some glue around the edges with a Nuvo Medium Tip Glue Pen [203N] and sprinkled some Copper Jewel Glitter [G1059] over it.  I mounted another circle behind it that I’ve cut out with some  Tonic Burnished Rose Mirror Cardstock [9488E] .

For the background of my card, I’ve used some Sparkle N Sprinkle Super Adhesvie Sheets [SAS02] that I’ve cut out in different sized circles and then added some of the same glitter that I’ve used for around the frog image panel.  I cut a few more circles out with the same mirror cardstock as well.

Bfore attaching the circles, I’ve heat embossed the sentiment over the A2 sized top folding black card base with some Sparkle N Sprinkle  Bronze Rose embossing powder [EP335],which I thinks matches up beautifully with that mirror cardstock!  Right underneath the embossed sentiment, I added some SNS 1/4″ Tear-ific Tape [SAT16]  and sprinkled on some more of that pretty glitter that I’ve used all over this card.  Then I added all the circles in the background including the frog image panel and cut off the circle part sticking over the edge on the right side.

Vicki-SNS-challengeblog-close

Taking a closer look at the “party Max frog”, you can see better how he’s colored in and a few other details that I’ve added to him.  For the olive shine, I’ve used some Nuvo Morning Dew Crystals Drops [677N] and for the “liquid” glass he’s sitting in, I’ve taken the Nuvo Medium Tip Glue Pen [203N] and sprinkled some Waterscape glitter [G1108] over it.  I’ve also used the Nuvo Gold Coast Glitter Drops [770N] to add a bit of sparkle around Max’s head.  (I’m assuming that it’s a bit of “campagne pops” from the glass!  Tee Hee!)

Vicki-SNS-challengeblog-flat

Just like Max here, I’m just as happy to dive right into the New Year in 2019!  I hope you are too and I hope that you will join me in this journey with Sparkle N Sprinkle too!  I would love to see you playing in the challenges or joining our Facebook Group!

Thanks so much for droppin in!!  Enjoy your first day in 2019!

I Woof You!

Hello friends!!  Sheesh!  It’s almost Christmas!  How did it get here SO fast?!  Today I am actually preparing for my own family dinner gathering, so I will be very busy with cooking and spending time with my family today.  But I have scheduled a post to share with you using a darling Puppy Love digital stamp set by Sparkle N Sprinkle!

Vicki-SnS-Puppy Love-

I thought this little pup was SO CUTE!  I love the little shirt with the hearts on it!  So if you are moving past your Christmas creations now, here’s some inspiration to share with a Valentine/Love theme!  🙂

For the image, I’ve printed it out and added the sentiment from the digital set underneath him.  I’ve used a scallop rectangle die to make an “Out of the Box” technique by cutting out the top of the heart balloon.  I colored the image with Copics.  I layered the image panel onto a piece of Chrome Silver Mirror Cardstock.

For the red layer behind that, I’ve taken a larger piece of white cardstock and added some 1/2″ Tear-ific Tape around the edges.  I then used a larger sized scalloped rectangle die to cut it out with.  I peeled the release paper and added the Cherry Sparkle Flocking.  I’ve also added this to the tiny hearts on the shirt as well as the Pink Spirit Flocking, but using the Nuvo Precision Glue Pen for the adhesive.  I’ve attached all of these layers onto a white A2 sized top folding card base.

Vicki-SnS-Puppy Love4

Upon a closer look at the image, you can see where I’ve added the flocking on the hearts in his shirt as well as the flocking at the top over the scallop rectangle panel.

For the balloons, I have covered them with some Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.  It dries clear, but while it was still wet, I’ve sprinkled on some SnS Ultrafine Waterscape Glitter very carefully and lightly and let it dry.  I think it adds a bit more sparkle to the shinny balloons!  After it dried, I used some silver ribbon to make bows and then attached them with some SnS Dimensional Glue.  I also decided to add some more of the Crystal Drops on his nose!

Vicki-SnS-Puppy Love6

I love how this turned out with the flocking and glittery shine!  Hope you’ve enjoyed my card too!!  I thank you so much for stopping in today and I wanted to take the time here to wish you all a VERY HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON!!!   See you soon!

Don’t forget there’s still plenty of time to add your creation to the Sparkle N Sprinkle Creative Challenge Blog or on our Sparkle N Sprinkle Facebook Group Challenge!  We’d love to see what you’re creating!

Clearly Big Birthday Wishes

Hello friends!  Hope you are having a good weekend so far!  I have a really fun card to share with you today using a couple of the new December releases from Sparkle N Sprinkle!  I’ve combined digital papers, digital images and also rubber stamps all with a unique twist!  Check it out:

Vicki-SnS-Clearly Birthday

I have made a fun “clear/see-through” card using the new Sparkle N Sprinkle A Big Birthday Wish rubber stamp set as well as the new Violets for You Digital Bundle.  (It comes with several gorgeous digital papers -some of which I’ve used on this design!)

To create the clear panel on the front of my card, I just used a standard A2 sized white top folding card base and cut off the front of it by leaving about 1″ at the top of it.  Then taking some SnS embossable acetate, I white heat embossed the “happy” sentiment all over it and cut it down to size to fit the front of the card and leaving enough “over-hang” so that I could attach it to the 1″ at the top of the card base. (I’ve used some Tear-ific Tape to attach it.)

I took a white panel and heat embossed the “birthday” & “wishes” sentiment with Berry Bliss EP and then layered a piece of black cardstock behind it.  I then white heat embossed the “wishes” sentiment over a strip of black card stock that I’ve cut into a banner and placed this underneath the “birthday”.

I’ve printed out the flower image and butterfly image from the Violet’s for You Digital Bundle.  I colored them with Copic markers, but there are several pre-colored ones if you prefer to do that.  For the top of the card, I’ve used some 1/4″ Tear-ific Tape and burnished some Caspia Sea glitter over it.  (I thought the color matched up beautifully with the digital papers from this set!)  For the bottom of the card front, I’ve cut a white strip of cardstock with a scallop die and then added a thin strip of Nuvo Burnished Rose Mirror cardstock over it.

Vicki-SnS-Clearly Birthday2

Having a closer look at the butterfly, you can see the sparkle on it.  I achieved this by using some Sparkle N Sprinkle Brushable Glue (it dries clear) and then spinkling some Diamond Dust Glitter over it.

Vicki-SnS-Clearly Birthday4

Because you can see through the front of the card, I wanted to make sure that my adhesive didn’t show on the back of the acetate on the inside, so I took a another piece of the Nuvo Burnished Rose Mirror cardstock slightly larger than the panel on the front and attached it on the inside lining it up with the front panel.  Then I cut a piece of those pretty digital papers from the digi bundle and attached it to the inside of the card.  I’ve also cut an additional white panel and lined it up with the other front panels so that you can’t see it from the front of the card, but when you open it, it gives you a place to put a message inside.

Vicki-SnS-Clearly Birthday3

Here the card is laying flat so that you can see how it looks completely closed up with all of the layers showing together.  This was a really fun one to put together!  Hope you’ve enjoyed my card today!  Thanks for dropping in!

Sparkle N Sprinkle New Release – Kitty Celebrates Up in the Air!

Hello friends!  Have you checked out all of the December New Release yet for Sparkle N Sprinkle?!  Do you have a favorite?  I’m not sure I can pick one!  I think they’re all fabulous really!  But I’m excited to start with this cute one for today:

Vicki-SnS-Kitty clouds

Tee hee!  Kitty got a little “carried away” with celebrating I think!  I have used the NEW Kitty Celebrates rubber stamp set [00-926P5] for my card. (There is also a wonderful digital set [DIGI926CS] if you prefer that!)  I’ve stamped him over Copic Blending Card paper and colored him in with Copic markers and then fussy cut him out.

Vicki-SnS Kitty Celebrates-Nuvo Drops

So before attaching him to my card, I thought it would be fun to add some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Morning Dew (Gloss-dries clear) [677N] and apply a layer over my balloons to give them a shinny balloon look!  I then set kitty aside while I worked on the rest of the card.

Vicki-SnS-Kitty Clouds3

For the background of my card, I made a nice “blue sky” by taking some Sparkle N Sprinkle Watercolor Paper [WC69] and sprinkling some Nuvo Blue Blitz Shimmer Powder [1208N] over it and then spritzing some water over it and letting it run all over the panel until I achieved the look I was going for.  (LOVE the subtle shimmer over it too!) and then set it aside to let it dry.

The next thing for me to do was to create some “fluffly clouds” for the kitty to be among:

Vicki-SnS-Kitty Clouds1

So I took some cloud dies from my stash and cut them out with some Sparkle N Sprinkle Sticker Paper [99558].

Vicki-SnS-Kitty Clouds2

These sheets are sticky on one side, so I carefully peeled the release paper and handled them with some tweezers and applied some of the Sparkle N Soft Twinkling Clouds Flocking [FL207] over top of the sticky side, rubbed them with my finger to secure and tapped off the excess.  I now have some really cool soft and fuzzy clouds to attach to my blue sky!

So now all I have left to do is assemble everything for my card!  I started by taking the clouds and adhering them to my background with some Sparkle N Sprinkle dimensional Glue.   I then cut down the watercolor blue sky panel with a rectangle stitched die that fit the size of my card.   Then I needed to add my sentiment, so I took the sentiment from the same stamp set and stamped it with a black pigment ink and added some Sparkle N Sprinkle Sparkle EP [EP107] and heat embossed it.  (This is a clear style embossing powder that leaves a nice little sparkle over it!)  I layered this die cut sky panel over a piece of black cardstock which was then layered over an A2 sized top folding white card base.  Lastly, I’ve added the fussy cut kitty over top of the sky background panel with some foam dots and then randomly added some drops with the Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter Drops [758N] over the sky panel.

Vicki-SnS-Kitty Clouds5

I think this turned out really cute and I sure had fun making it!  Here I’ve laid it down so the light catches the details of the sparkle in the clouds, the sentiment and the glitter drops in the background as well as the shine over the ballons too!

Hope you’ve enjoyed my card for you today!  Thanks for dropping in!

A Big Thanks With Floral Elegance

Hello friends!  Hope you’ve enjoyed your Thanksgiving Holiday for those that celebrate!  Stopping in to share one last guest design creation for the November release this month at Sparkle N Sprinkle.  I don’t know about you, but I can never have too many sentiment sets to use for my card making!  This “A Big Thanks” [00-928P8] rubber stamp set fit the bill perfectly with it’s gorgeous font and larger size! It’s also offered in digital [DIGI928DE] if you prefer to size it how you like though!

Vicki-SnSNov-ABigThanks

Although this looks somewhat “fussy”, it is actually really simple to create!

I started by inking up the sentiment from this set on a piece of vellum with some VersaMark Ink [VM001] and sprinkling some SnS Bronze Rose embossing powder [EP335] over it to heat set.  (GORGEOUS powder! *A tip for you on this EP is that it can get a “halo” around it because of that stunning fine mica powder in it, so be sure to use the Static Free Bag [99512] before you stamp and if there is still a halo around it after you heat set it, then I find the Swiffer cloths (that you use for cleaning) really help in picking up the fine powder that might be left behind.) – it works stunning on the vellum!

I made this vellum strip long enough so that it would wrap around the card front panel of my design and then I set this aside to work on the rest of my card.

Vicki-SnSNov-ABigThanks3

Although the flowers look complicated, they’re really not!  I took the pretty flowers from the Sparkle N Sprinkle Lovely Magnolia rubber stamp set [00-53P5] and heat embossed them with the same SnS Bronze Rose embossing powder [EP335] over some Bristol Smooth watercolor cardstock.  I then took out several shades of my Distress Oxide Inks and sponged over them with my finger sponge daubers.  I used a water spritzer to spray onto the images, let it set for a couple of seconds and dabbed it up with a paper towel.  I then used some white shimmer paint and a paint brush to splatter over top of the flowers and leaves.  I then fussy cut them out and set those aside with the vellum strip.

Vicki-SnSNov-ABigThanks2

Now to work on the background of my image panel, I took some more of the watercolor paper and some Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink and foam blended it very lightly in the center of the card panel.  After I was happy with the look, I spritzed it with some water, waited a few seconds and dabbed it with a paper towel.  I made sure it was completely dry before moving on.

I then took the heat embossed vellum strip, turned it over and added some tiny drops behind some of the letters with SnS dimensional glue (so that it wouldn’t show) and then wrapped the strip around the back of the panel and attached it to the card front.

I then took the flowers that I fussy cut and arranged them in the corners of my card front panel by gluing some of them and then popping up a couple with foam tape for dimension.  Anything that was hanging along the edge was cut off with scissors.

Vicki-SnSNov-ABigThanks1

I then mounted the watercolor image panel to a piece of the Tonic Studios Mirror Cardstock – Burnished Rose [9488E] (which seemed to match the embossing powder beautifully!) and then I mounted that over an A2 sized top folding white card base.

To finish it off, I thought it would look pretty to add some Nuvo Glitter Drops in Dazzling Blue [759N] by making drops with it in random areas on the design.  The blue color matched up perfectly with the flowers on my design.

Love how this one came out, hope you like it too!  Thanks so much for hanging out with me today and stopping in! – I’ll be back later with another post for you!

Feeling Young at Heart with Sparkle N Sprinkle :)

Hello friends!  Stopping in to share another guest design creation that I’ve made using some of the Sparkle N Sprinkle November release products!  Have you found a favorite yet? I really enjoyed creating with them!   Here’s another I’ve made using the very sweet digital set Doctor at Heart [DIGI3152J] :

Vicki-SnSNov-YoungatHeart

Isn’t this image darling?!  My first thought on this set was to try and go a little “vintage” with my design.  I opened up a Word doc. to insert the image and sentiment and sized and arranged it how I wanted it to look.  I printed it out on some cream colored card stock and then cut it out with the Tonic Studios Follow Your Heart die [1918E] using the frame portion only.  (This die was from a past video kit that I had received…love it!)

I wasn’t sure I wanted the image to look “vintage” so in asking hubby, he told me that I needed to color him up with blue shorts, brown/tan shoes, orange top and blond hair!  He was very specific about that!! LOL!  So I colored this cute image up with my Copic markers and gave some “outlining” shadows around the sentiment too.  I took a gel Stardust Pen and colored in the ‘metal parts’ of the stethoscope and then added some Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew (Gloss-clear) [677N] to the heart circle the boy is holding and let it dry.  I then used some distress inks and sponged around the edges of the heart image panel and spritzed it with water, waited a few seconds and dabbed it up with a paper towel.  I love the watermark look it gives to add that vintage flair and tie it all in together.

Vicki-SnSNov-YoungatHeart3

So when you tilt the card, you notice that the background looks like I’ve used some special glitter paper, but I did NOT!  I made my own glitter paper for the background!  I took another piece of black cardstock and covered the entire panel with VersaMark Ink [VM001] and sprinkled it with some Sparkle N Sprinkle Black Magic embossing powder [EP255]..stunning sparkle!

Vicki-SnSNov-YoungatHeart2

For the look on the ribbon, I took some cream colored seam binding ribbon and sprayed it with some water and rubbed it in some ink that I smeared onto my TH Glass Media Mat [1914E] and crinkled it up and then let it dry.  I wrapped it around the embossed glitter background panel and added a bow with a button and natural twine for the center of it.  I mounted this glitter panel onto a 5 1/2″ sqaure cream colored card base that I’ve ink blended around the edges in the same colors that I’ve used on the heart.  The heart image panel was then popped up over the ribbon strip and glitter background with craft foam and then the seam binding bow was attached along the edge of the heart.

Vicki-SnSNov-YoungatHeart1

For the corners of my card, I had a very old corner punch that I punched out from black card stock and attatched them to the corners of the card.  I then used the  Nuvo Crystal Drops Ripened Pumpkin [655N] to add some “dot” in the middle of each punched corner piece to finish it off.  I think that the tiny bit of orange color ties in nicely with the glitter background and his orange shirt.

I really hope that you’ve enjoyed my fun ‘vintage charm’ creation as well!  Thanks so much for stopping in today and I’ll see you soon!

Grateful We Are Friends – Sparkle N Sprinkle November Release

Hello friends!  Stopping in today to share my  Guest Design card from the Sparkle N Sprinkle November release using the Koi Pond Friends rubber stamp set [00-919P5] along with several other really fun products from Sparkle N Sprinkle!  Please be sure to check out the entire November release in the store!  I really had so much fun creating with these new sets and awesome products!

Vicki-SnSNov-KoiPondFriends

I started out with a piece of watercolor paper and sprinkled three different colors of Nuvo Shimmer Powders on it:  Atlantis Burst [1213N], Green Parade [1214N] and Blue Blitz [1208N].  I sprinkled all the colors at once before applying any water to it.  I sprinkled VERY little and just added a bit more here and there as I spritzed it with water.  I saturated the paper and moved it around until it was covered how I wanted it to look.  I dabbed it up with a paper towel and used a heat gun to dry it up a bit.  I just love the beautiful shimmer on this background!

Vicki-SnSNov-KoiPondFriends2

Also for the background, I took the bubbles image from the same stamp set and stamped them in VersaMark ink [VM001] around the right corner and bottom over the watercolor piece.  I heat embossed the bubbles with some Sparkle N Sprinkle Frosted Juniper [EP406] and Sparkle (Semi-transparent) [EP107] embossing powders.  I then mounted this watercolor background panel onto the top edge of a black A2 Sized top folding card base.

With the close-up view of the fish, I heat embossed them with the SnS Copper Embossing Powder [EP236] over some Bristol paper.  For the flower image, I just stamped it with black waterproof ink in the same Bristol paper.  Below I will share how I went about coloring both the fish and the flower:

Vicki-SnS-GratefulFriends-coloring

After heat embossing the fish and stamping the flower, I took the Nuvo Glitter Markers in the following colors:  Mighnight Shadows [172N], Ember Glow [170N] and Urban Graphite [188N] and pressed the pens down onto my Tim Holtz Glas s Media Mat [1914E] to get a “pool” of it and then used my Waterbrush to blend and color the images. It leaves a beautiful shimmer and blends the colors together so nicely!

Here’s a closer view of the colored flower with the shimmer.  I fussy cut all the colored images and glued them on the card base with some SnS dimensional glue.  For the flower image, I decided to off-set it and trim off the edges with scissors.

For the greeting, using the same rubber stamp set, I stamped it with a black pigment ink and then sprinkled it with some SnS Sparkle (semi-transparent) [EP107] and heat embossed it to give it a nice sparkly look!

For the bottom portion of my card, I cut out a strip of cardstock the width that I wanted to go across the bottom and underneath the watercolor panel.  I covered the entire strip with some  SnS Dimensional Glue and then covered that up with these stunning Bronze Mica Flakes [MF05] and let it dry.  After it was dried, I pressed and burnished them into the strip with my finger and bone folder.  The extra pieces will come off the sides as you rub it around or you could also trim it off if you prefer, but I found it to not be necessary.  You can see how big the flakes are in the photo as I scattered a few of them around my card in the photos.  This was by far my favorite thing to play with on my card! 🙂

Merry & Bright Kitty

Hello friends!  Hope you’re having a great weekend so far!  I’m back to share another Sparkle N Sprinkle creation that I’ve made using the adorable Christmas Kitty Digital Stamp Set [DIGI921CS] from the October Release:

Vicki-SnS-ChristmasKitty-OctGDT

I wanted this kitty to be the main focus of my card along with the lights and I wanted them to pop out on my design.  I also wanted to add my panel complete with the “extra” light string and greeting.  So I opened up a blank Word doc. to add my images.  I sized and arranged the kitty where I wanted him, then next to him I’ve added the additional “extra” lights and then positioned my greeting from the set where I wanted it, printed it out and colored in the lights and kitty with Copic markers.  To make the lights appear as one continuous string of lights, I took an alcohol friendly fine line marker to draw a line to the existing lights on the kitty.  I just love the look on his face as he was so much fun to color! 🙂

To get the glowing look on the lights, I added some color around each light with the same color of chalk.  Then I took the Diamond Dust Glitter and added it over the light bulbs with the Nuvo Smooth Precision Glue pen.

I then cut this panel out with a rectangle cross stitch die cut from my stash.  After it was cut, I took some blue colored ink and stamped the pine cone image from the Holiday Greetings Rubber stamp set  to frame in the kitty panel.

I decided to cut out some pine leaves with the same light blue card stock with a die cut from my stash and then I covered them with VersaMark ink and heat embossed them with the Vanilla Ice embossing powder.  You will also notice a bit of sparkle around the kitty panel edge too.  I took the panel and pressed the edges into the VersaMark ink pad and then heat embossed the edges with the Sparkle embossing powder.

Here you can see the design on my light blue card front as well.  This is where I took the same pine cone rubber stamp image and stamped randomly along the edges of the card front and heat embossed it with the Vanilla Ice embossing powder.  The heat embossed pine cone leaves were attached to the edge of the kitty panel along with a sparkly ribbon bow and a snowflake accent.  I layered a piece of black cardstock around the image panel and popped it up with some craft foam and mounted that over the front of the heat embossed light blue card front which was wrapped with some more of the sparkly ribbon.  This was mounted over an A2 sized top folding white card base.

Exciting Guest Design News to Share! (Last Post of 3 today)

Hello friends! Sorry to be throwing so many posts out to you at once, but as you can see there are so many exciting things going on the first of the month and I’m happy to be sharing it with you!

I’m excited to finally announe that I’ve been asked to be a guest designer with the folks over at Sparkle N Sprinkle for the next 3 months!!  How cool is that?!  I absolutely LOVE to do a little sparkling and sprinkling so this fits right in with my creating! 🙂  I hope you will enjoy seeing my creations with these products!

I also will be posting my creations on the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog too…so be sure to check out all Sparkle N Sprinkle inspiration from the design team over there as well!  (We will be showing creations made with the new release each month!!)   I’m starting out my first creation using some of the latest digital images released at the beginning of October.

I have come up with an easel card design that I’ve created using the digital set called Memory In Our Hearts:

Vicki-SnS-MemoryinOurHearts-OctGDT

The great advantage to using a digital set is that they come with pre-colored images as well as outlined images to create many different looks you’re wanting.  In addition to that, you can also manipulate the size and structure of your image as I have done with my card here.  (This is a great way to come up with a unique design too!)

I have taken some of the pre-colored “sprigs” in the fall theme color and sized and moved them around in a Word doc. to create my own Fall wreath with it!  I then added the beautiful sentiment to the center and placed where I wanted it and then printed it out along with a couple more sprigs that you see on the inside of this design.

Vicki-SnS-MemoryinOurHearts-OctGDT1

To step things up a notch, I’ve used a protractor to draw a circle around my wreath image as well as a larger circle for a mat behind it and fussy cut them out. (I didn’t have a circle die large enough to accomodate my wreath image.)  I took my ink blending tool and some Tea Dye and Vintage Photo distress inks to add some color around the edges.  Since I made a Fall wreath design, I wanted to add some glitter to the leaves.  So I took the Nuvo Precision glue pen and added some Waterscape glitter over them.  For the “berries”, I took some Ripened Pumpkin Nuvo Crystal Drops in random areas around the leaves.  I made a bow with some natural twine and added it to the top of the wreath.  (I did this same process for the smaller “sprigs” on the inside of the card as well.)

For my card design, I have made an “easel style” card (more on that below).  My card size is a 5 1/2″ square.  I have used the same cardstock color that I’ve used to print out my wreath image and separated it in two panels to fit on the front of my card base.  I took an embossing folder from my stash to add some texture to my design and also used the distress inks again to add some color around the edges.  I used the Sparkle N Sprinkle dimensional glue to add some “dots” in the corners and then sprinkled some “Autumn Medley” glitter over them and let it dry.  I have also taken some 1/4″ Tear-iffic Tape to the middle edges of the card base and burnished some of this same “Autumn Medley” glitter to that.  I think it really brings in that pretty Fall color theme with some added sparkle!

Vicki-SnS-MemoryinOurHearts-OctGDT3

And for the inside of my card, you can see that those extra “sprigs” that I’ve printed and cut out create an easel style “stopper/display” funtion for my card design.  It’s easy to create this look with a score mark made in the center of the card front base as you can see with the circle wreath shown fully.  (I know that Demo Donna has created a tutorial from one of the past video card kits if you want to learn more – check it out HERE and subscribe to their channel…you’ll love it!)

I have used some of the same colored cardstock as the printed out wreath for the inside of my card with some more distress inks along the edges as well as another strip of 1/4″ Tear-iffic Tape along the bottom edge burnished with some more of that “Autumn Medley” glitter.  I’ve used some foam tape to pop up the “sprig” cut out images so that they create the “stopper” for the front card base to rest while being displayed.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed my interactive card today and I look forward to sharing many more projects with you during my guest design spot for Sparkle N Sprinkle!
