Here’s what I’ve made for this week:

I have used 3 different subscription products on my card for you today, can you guess which ones?
I have used most obviously the beautiful September Stamp of the Month for the image. It comes with 2 different sentiments that you can change out. I’ve just colored mine up with Copic markers over a piece of Alabaster cardstock.
The second thing I’ve used is the September Stencil of the Month in the background, but what may not be obvious is that I’ve also used the September Embossing Powder of the Month as well.
I took the stencil over a piece of Alabaster cardstock and covered it with the Embossing Ink and then lifted the stencil to sprinkle the embossing powder over it to heat set. I cut out that piece and layered it over another piece of Alabaster cardstock that I die cut with a stitched scallop die.
If you want to pick out a Brutus Monroe cardstock that matches up perfectly with this month’s subscription embossing powder, I found that the Terracotta cardstock matches up nicely with it! It’s what I’ve used for my card base and the circle layer behind the image.
Lastly, I’ve added another circle layer from Gilded Glittersock, popped it up with some foam tape and added some gold thread nested behind it. I took some gold sequins and filled them with gold glitter too.
Here’s a closer look at the image and how I’ve colored it in. I just used my Copics to color it in and shade around it. As you know, I like to use my gel pens to add just a bit of sparkle to certain areas of the image and I’ve also added some “dots” around it with gel pens too.
Here you can get a better glimpse of the heat embossed background on the left corner of the card. It’s a very pretty Fall color and appropriately named “Crisp Leaves”.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my card today using the Brutus Monroe Subscription products! Please be sure to click on the links below to see the rest of the inspiration from the design team:
